Corporate Social Responsibility

Volunteering is a masterclass in empathy, problem-solving, and teamwork, where the lessons learned are as valuable as the help given.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Volunteering and Internship Program

Our Corporate Social Responsibility initiative is dedicated to fostering relationships with companies to promote increased social and environmental responsibility. Interns play a pivotal role by conducting research to identify opportunities for local and international companies to engage in CSR. This involves gaining insights into their existing business models and assessing potential negative social impacts. Subsequently, we develop strategies, such as involving companies like Colgate in oral hygiene campaigns for African children or collaborating with Cement Factories in tree-planting initiatives.

Amidst a rapidly growing economy, there is significant business activity and investment. However, the absence of strictly enforced regulations allows corporations to potentially exploit the environment and communities. The goal of our Corporate Social Responsibility internship is to mitigate these impacts. We recognize the importance of education in local schools to raise awareness about the potential negative consequences of corporate actions. Participants in this program will have the opportunity to apply skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, organization, and creativity to drive meaningful and tangible change.
