Human Rights

Volunteering is a masterclass in empathy, problem-solving, and teamwork, where the lessons learned are as valuable as the help given.

Human Rights Advocacy Program

Our program is dedicated to protecting and advocating for the rights of children, women, and people with disabilities. We specifically address issues like child marriage, gender equality, and the right to education. Committed to The Children’s Agenda program, we prioritize the rights of children and women in our advocacy efforts.

Interns engaged in this program will undertake practical tasks encompassing advocacy, teaching, and raising awareness about human rights issues prevalent in Kenya. The focus extends to working closely with the local community, including visits to schools, and orphanages, and collaboration with local women. We actively engage with communities in rural and marginalized areas, offering interns a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in a different way of life while contributing to the protection of the rights of women and children.

Interns participating in this program will gain invaluable experience in a developing economy, acquiring a new perspective on global rights issues. They will develop essential skills such as public speaking, independence, resilience, and problem-solving, creating memories that last a lifetime.
